You can't give, what you don't have
Luke 11:6 – “For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?”
True inspiration comes directly from God. Unless you have God’s anointing and inspiration, there are no lasting effects on what you try to accomplish for the kingdom. Now, If God dwells inside of us, we should be able to fulfill any situation we’re put into.
We must realize that the devil challenges nothing more than he does our prayer and fast life. Why? Because praying and fasting is what gives us our daily strength and connection with God. Without a consistent prayer and fast life it is impossible to maintain our salvation. If a mother neglects her three month old child, and refuses to feed them, they will eventually die. Prayer and fasting is a Christian’s food, if they do not maintain it they will eventually die spiritually.
If there is inconsistency in those areas, then it’s impossible for the Christian to produce something profitable to the kingdom. We cannot do things just because we know how to, or out of routine. If you don’t have a personal relationship with God, as stated previously, the things you do outwardly won’t have lasting effects. People wouldn’t have half of the problems they do today if their prayer and fast life was intact .
We must learn to make the flesh hurt, and have more personal time with God so that we can produce something that will have an everlasting impact. God can only use what we give him to work with. If your personal time with God is unsteady, something will be able to come and take you down. We must maintain our spiritual life, so that we will have something to offer for the kingdom.
