Prayer is a conquering and powerful force! We believe just as with the early morning Church, that it is thrrough the power of prayer that situations will change. The bible states in James 5:16 KJV “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
We take each submitted prayer request serious and will be praying for you. We only ask that when God answers prayer, that you write us or contact us on this website and let us know.
Submit Your Prayer Request
We are also listing prayer requests to further increase the number of Saints both locally, nationally and internationally to actively engage in praying for these requests.
cfbDear Nancy,Our prayers go out to you and your sitc2aduc2adac2adtion. You have sufc2adfered much and I know how much God the Father wants to wrap you up in His lovc2ading hands and conc2adsole you and heal your wodneud heart. What you clearly express is that you have a difc2adfic2adculty with faith. In believc2ading that God loves you perc2adsonc2adally as His child and that He wants to heal you. I hear the words of Jesus on the Cross, e2809cMy God, my God why have you forc2adsaken me.e2809d Jesusc2b4knows the feelc2adings of despair. He has fealt them all, othc2aderc2adwise He could not comc2adpletely redeem us and all our expec2adric2adences. He assumed all to save all. Howc2adever, in the Gospels He calls us to have faith. Where there was litc2adtle faith, there were few mirc2adac2adcles. In my expec2adric2adence as a priest, many times I have seen that the door opens to healc2ading when one looks to childc2adhood and sees the first wounds of the heart. It is there that the first walls were built up. The walls that donc2b4t let anyc2adbody in, not even God. He wonc2b4t force Himc2adself on us and that is why it is somec2adtimes conc2adfusc2ading why He doesnc2b4t heal our present sitc2aduc2adac2adtion.What can hapc2adpen is that the litc2adtle child can stop cryc2ading and say to himc2adself or herc2adself (conc2adsciously or subc2adconc2adsciously), e2809cI wonc2b4t let anyc2adbody else hurt me.e2809d The heart is held bound by such a promise until it is renounced. One can also be comc2admanded by ones parc2adents not to cry and were never given perc2admisc2adsion to comc2admuc2adnic2adcate the hurts one fealt. e2809cBig girls donc2b4t crye2809d or other cliches that are lies and hurtc2adful to emoc2adtional growth. I perc2adsonc2adally heard e2809cWherec2b4s the blood?e2809d when I tried to express the hurts I fealt. It is hard to know exactly what could be the block to you being healed, but I would recc2adomc2admend a few steps.1. Ask God for the gift of faith and trust that He has given it to you.2. If you are Catholic I would go to Conc2adfesc2adsion and examc2adine your life to make sure you are workc2ading to live a moral life as is indic2adcated by the Gospels, espec2adcially in the area of forc2adgivec2adness. If we hate and resent othc2aders this can be a great obstac2adcle to healc2ading. Then go to Eucharist often askc2ading the Lord to ever come deeper into your heart. To all the dark, lonely, empty, wodneud parts. Donc2b4t be afraid. He is always very genc2adtle.3. Spend time in prayer in silence in a calm, spec2adcial place (I recc2adomc2admend before the Blessed Sacrac2adment in adoc2adrac2adtion if it is availc2adable to you).4. It sounds like you may be aware of ALANON Which is for the famc2adily memc2adbers of addicts. Attend the meetc2adings and there are some great tapes by Fr. Emmc2aderc2adick on the 12 Steps and Detatchc2ading with Love.5. Rememc2adber the man in the Gospel who was ill for 38 years. Jesus asked him, e2809cDo you want to be healed?e2809d This may sound strange but we can be so accusc2adtomed to the disc2adorc2adder around us that we can have an unconc2adscious fear of real change. Ask God for the courage to change if this is thec2a0case.May God conc2adsole you, guide you, heal you and strenghten you and may the saints interc2adcede for you on your journey.Fr. Isaac
